These animated book covers are recreations inspired by Angie Thomas’s novels On the Come Up, The Hate U Give, and Concrete Rose. Each animation captures a central theme from its respective book through imagery and motion.
The project also served as an opportunity to practice the fundamentals of After Effects, including timing, layering, and animation principles.
